In 1987, Kaiser proposed a formula which can relate the matter power spectrum to the realspace power spectrum

P_s(k)=(1+f\mu^2)^2*P(k), but this formula disagrees with simulations. 

Some others have proposed some more complicated formulas to solve this problem, they take nonlinearity into account, and their new formulas agree with the simulations quite well (of course there are some differences).

Pro.Hu suggests that maybe we can just use some higher oder expansions of exp(if*k_z*u_z) instead of taking into account the nonlinear effects (here we are interested in large scale structure), we get our formula, we have 4 extra modification terms, but only one of them seems reasonable, the others' coefficients are too large... so it seems that our expansion will diverge... what a shit...

but we just found an interested thing, if we keep the lowest order new modifications, we can get similar result as the others mentioned above!!!

here are three figures showing our result:

 

i plot the contours of our formula and Kaiser's in the first figure, the second is Kaiser's and the third is our's respectively.

The problem still remains, the coefficients of the other new terms in our formula must be determined and only then can we conclude whether we have done right.
